Great team nice atmosphere delicious food
A tip for gourmets! Sensationally good, freshly prepared dishes and matching regional wines, very friendly and fast service. Nice atmosphere, clean. A shame that this inn has to go into lockdown.
The restaurant Walsers provided us with wonderful culinary delights and we will definitely be back after the lockout!
Warm and friendly! Good recommendation for food and accommodation.
Nice garden, always delicious!
We stopped by on the recommendation of a wine journalist friend. The parking lot already showed that it is not a normal country inn! The ambition of the kitchen is evident in the starters; Main courses, on the other hand, looked almost boring. Prices rather ambitious, but still acceptable for 'Basel CHF refugees'. Took two starters myself: The pulpo for the “pulpo-chanterelle-bean salad on veal head carpaccio” (picture 1) was out, but generously replaced by prawns: delicious! The "homemade tomato-mozzarella ravioli with lime butter" came as a (barely noticeable) "gr. Portion ”for a very impressive 22 € (instead of 14 €, like as a starter on the menu and slightly smaller at the mother-in-law: picture 2): Also delicious, but comparatively. ambitiously priced! My wife had "Caramelized goat cheese, on beetroot carpaccio" as a starter (picture 3) and then dared to try the tripe. The mother-in-law ate “Scallops and prawns on lukewarm quinoa salad” (picture 4): intense, good taste! The father-in-law's main course was “Geschnetzeltes Veal Zurich Style with Rösti” in a large portion and really delicious (Fig. 5, would have cost 42 CHF in Basel). The white house wine came several times and was delicious. The junior had patiently answered all questions about relevant grape varieties from the area and outlined the family history. However, the waitress almost had to be persuaded to have a nightcap in the chestnut garden (a change of table). There was creme brulee with the wine (picture 6) ...
Sleep comfortably and eat well We stayed overnight in the small village and enjoyed our stay. The rooms are good. Beds comfortable the bathroom a bit old but everything is very well maintained and the air conditioning works too, which was very nice considering the 35 degrees, because the attentive service had cooled the room before our arrival. The overnight Dinner is good but expensive. € 38 for a saddle of veal is expensive, despite the good quality of the product. Their own truffles are really good and the wines from their own cultivation are also well developed. In my opinion, the proximity to the Swiss border is noticeable here, as with other companies. You just have to know. The breakfast is very good and good value for money. Regional goods, vegetarian products and cheese and sausage and much more. All in all a good stop on the way south or for a nice meal. Gladly again.
We went to this with friends good country hotel and we especially enjoyed the 5 course menu with accompanying wines. Everything was very tasty, the service was excellent and the hospitality was very informal ... we even got to know the truffle dog Toni. We'll be back soon ... maybe in the truffle season.
An absolute recommendation when it comes to regional and sustainable beef and of course great cuisine. Here you can always get SMA meat from slaughter with caution, namely "from nose to tail". The meat is still cut up and completely used here. Who does that nowadays? - simply GREAT
Simply casual?
Excellent overnight stop on the way to Switzerland. Spacious and clean rooms (somewhat dated). Quiet area, and nice breakfast.
Very good food, meat from fair slaughter !, friendly and attentive service.
Food was great: veal steak on morel sauce with homemade spaetzle. Tender meat, tasty sauce, large portion of noodles. To regional Zweigelt. Fast, very friendly service. was all Although relatively expensive, but considering the quality and Guest experience not overpriced. Definitely worth a visit!
Good place and staff . Food varaities
Good Restaurant in the German countryside close to the 3 border area. Friendly staff, good service, good food at correct prices. Free Parking available
Atmosphere very nice. The food: salad perfect, dumplings very good, red cabbage a poem, chestnuts too. The goose tastes good but tough. Too bad. Will go back anyway.
Pretty country inn with a beautiful beer garden under an old chestnut tree. Friendly service. I can not judge the food, as I have consumed only a quarter of it there.
Quality food good, but fairly normal portions to little and hefty at the price. (Swiss prices .......) Also check your bill! With us there were 2 drinks that we did not have. The wait staff said it belonged to the table next to us, but we have our reservations about it. I had an iced coffee after. Supplied that there is also cherry water through it. , it was only with coffee and whipped cream. They had forgotten vanilla ice cream (what was really in it). Had said it afterwards and then they offered two small scoops of ice cream. I would just offer a new one myself. Certainly for that price!
Clean nice room. Also our dog was very welcome. Price performance ratio very good. Breakfast was good, all requests were fulfilled. Staff above all the junior boss very friendly, personal and courteous. We will be back.
Cozy, nice restaurant. The best "Läberli" far and wide.
The hotel and restaurant were delightful. Our room was very clean and quiet. It was the first good night sleep we had in 3 days. The restaurant was excellent with the nice staff who was patient with my poor German! I would stay here again!
I visit the vine 1-2 a year on festive occasions like Easter or a birthday. The restaurant offers bourgeois, fine cuisine. The staff is always friendly and accommodating. The map is usually clear, the products should be nice and fresh and should find something in the map. The ambience is ancient and homey. The prices are in the upper range and are probably influenced by the proximity to Switzerland. Conclusion always happy! Minus point is there for the high fee (2 EUR) with Umbestellungen.
A beautiful traditional house with lots of charm plus a treat for spoiled palates. Very nice rooms and rich good breakfast buffet. Very friendly staff and would be happy to come back (recommendation for overnight stay # 8) It was an unforgettable moment! Thank you to the whole Landgasthof Rebstock Team - Top Service!
